The idea was to play with a bunch of different looks from BTS material

and combine them into one cut with a very edged and frenetic feel.

Screen Test show open

Cut and mastered Screen Test show open.  My team and I mastered the 1 hour pilot episode for Broadcast air on Fashion One Network.  All the Dailies were shot to HDcam tape with 3 now somewhat obsolete Sony F-900 High Definition cameras.  Because of budget constraints at the time I had to use one of the F-900‘s as a playback deck to run it’s SDI signal out direct into AjAs Kona 3 and do realtime conversions to Apples pro-res (422)HQ codec to prep for smooth editing. I used this workflow to complete post on 17 30min reality shows and it produced a really nice image, but everyone was much happier when we transferred to a tapeless work-flow.
